If you have a Part-FCL pilots licence, you can extend the privileges of your licence by adding a night rating. This allows you to fly in Visual Flying Rules (VFR) conditions at night, provided that you have met the flying recency requirements.
Requirements for obtaining a Night Rating:
Minimum of 5 hours night training:
- 3 hours dual night training
- 1 hour dual night navigation with at least one dual cross-country flight of at least 50km
- 5 solo take-offs and full stop landings at night
